About the Ashram:

The SJSWF Briddha Ashram is a non-profit, charitable elder care center dedicated to supporting abandoned, homeless, and neglected senior citizens. Founded under the compassionate vision of the Sah Ji Social Welfare Foundation, this Ashram is built as a sanctuary where our elders can live peacefully with love, respect, and dignity.

We believe no elder should feel alone. Through this initiative, we aim to give back to those who gave us everything.

 

Services Offered at the Ashram:

Free Residential Facility: Comfortable dormitory and semi-private rooms with clean bedding and daily care.
Nutritious Meals: Hygienically prepared vegetarian meals served three times a day.
Medical Support: Regular health checkups, basic medicines, and tie-ups with local clinics/hospitals.
Mental & Emotional Well-being: Group prayer, meditation, storytelling, and cultural activities.
Personal Care: Bathing, grooming, and clothing support for dependent seniors.
Community Living: A safe environment where elders live like family, sharing joy, memories, and festivals.
Funeral & Last Rites: Respectful final rites performed for residents without family.

Our Mission:

To create a loving space where senior citizens are cared for, not forgotten. To restore their sense of belonging, value, and purpose, regardless of their financial or social background.

We also aim to raise awareness about elder abandonment and advocate for intergenerational bonding in society.

Get Involved:

SJSWF invites individuals, corporates, volunteers, and donors to support this noble cause through:

• Food or clothing donations
• Sponsoring a resident’s care
• Volunteering time or skills
• Medical camps and wellness workshops
• Financial contributions (all donations are tax exempt under [insert applicable section])

Receipts & impact reports are provided transparently to all donors.
